Logfolio | Logo Redesigns

Logos that were created for the Daily Logo Challenge. The logo designs showcased here are going to be logo redesigns of existing logo designs.

Day 22 – City Logo:

When the logo prompt of “city” came for day 22, I was inspired to do a logo design for the City of Toronto. Keeping the original color scheme of the original city’s logo, here is my take on this logo design!

My Design
Current city logo

Compared to the landmark the original logo used, I decided to opt with Toronto’s famous [CN Tower]. Since I have a belief that there should be a wordmark logo version, I used the [T] as the basis to mimic a tower effect. The inside “floors” of the T tower containing rest of the letters of the city.

Day 29 – Rideshare:

On day 29 I was prompted with creating a rideshare logo. And yet again, compared to creating an original logo design, I opted to design my version of Uber’s logo. So here it is!

Current company logo

Using the font style of the original logo as the main basis, I decided to create another wordmark version of Uber’s logo. Instead of using the company’s alternative green color scheme, I opted for blue color hues instead. Add in the rest of the company letters and you have a wordmark logo!

Day 48 – Cellphone Company:

For my cellphone company logo prompt, I was inspired to re-create AT&T’s logo design. After taking a look at their logo history online, it was amazing to see how much their logo has changed over the years. But at the same time, as a viewer I couldn’t help but feel that their current globe design was a bit suffocating to look at. Since compared to their logo name, the size of the globe was substantially larger.

Honoring the company’s original logo color scheme and font style, I decided to place the color schematics of the globe logo onto the [&]. And since AT&T was marketed to be a [telecommunications company], I was inspired to put telegraph lines behind the font letterings.

And that’s about it for my logo redesigns here today!
